SpectraQuattro's selective epidermal cooling is achieved with sub-zero chilled, blue sapphire IPL crystal lenses providing maximum patient comfort. The SpectraQuattro handpiece can reach temperatures as low as –5 C to cool the epidermis, preventing thermal damage to surrounding tissue. For maximum power, fluence and efficiency, SpectraQuattro utilizes a square beam profile with a full spectrum wavelength light flash. SpectraQuattro's blue sapphire crystal lenses capture scattered light, returning and refocusing it for each energy pulse. This phenomenon of light energy recycling provides a reduction of wasted light. Multi-pulsation control, chromophore efficiency and super-selective photothermolysis allow you to adjust this system to meet the needs of your patients and maximize effectiveness. This unique capability makes SpectraQuattro superior to fixed IPL systems. Four to six blue sapphire lenses are included with SpectraQuattro and magnetically adhere to the handpiece easily f or each indication.
